About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be your authentic self!

ABOUT ME

Goofy, down to earth, friendly, sincere, honest, giving, nurturing, responsible, silly, fun, and down for adventure!

Currently, I am 26 years old, and about to journey on the biggest adventure yet. Graduated with a diploma in tourism, spent a few years as a tour guide in Ontario and Quebec, and most recently having spent the last year in the Caribbean working on cruise ships as an entertainment host I am ready to take it to land again. I am backpacking Australia! and doing something I have always wanted to, working on organic farms. I have the intention of giving back to the places I visit, fully engage in the culture, people and the land we share. I believe we are all one, I treat everyone as an equal. I hope we all fulfill our dreams on this crazy ride we call life. I believe where there is a will, there is a way.

I love great conversations, laughter, and the ability to sit and engage in nature and all the beauty in the world. And I am always down for adventure!

PHILOSOPHY

Treat others, how you would like to be treated! I encounter every moment in my life as though it was meant to be there, every person you learn from, and problem you grow. I have found a passion for living, learning, and growing. I love meeting new people, because it enables me to also meet something new within myself. If you can change someones day with a smile or a funny remark in that akward elevator moment.. why not?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to give as much back as I can to the places and people I encounter. Although, I have not been able to host with couchsurfing as of yet, I truly love everything it encompasses. Were all one. xx

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had the most amazing first couchcurf! I met an incredible down to earth couple from Victoria, BC, who immediately made me feel at home, and like I was hanging with friends I havnt seen in a while! My second time in Vancouver, I met a house full of amazing people, took good care of me, and we all took part in a beautiful symbyotic friendship, that I hope lasts forever! I LOVE COUChSURFING!!! Cant wait until the next adevntures!

Interests

I feel best when I'm surrounded by trees and forest, or sitting and listening to the waves crash on the ocean side. I love all that is nature. I am totally determined to learn to surf (still havnt tried) and learn how to have a organic sustainable farm of my own one day. I love music, the sound of an acoustic guitar is my reason for living! ha. training wheels still on but I'm getting it. I love to read, and reflect. I enjoy trying new things, learning new skills, and am totally open to other cultures and their lifestyles. to each their own right? I am a genuine person, who is purely interested in genuine people! :)

Love pschological thrillers, disecting the mind fascinates me! and ofcourse the chick flicks, the notebook/the vow/50 first dates and books ohhhh boy I am a lover of all non fiction I love to learn other ways to view the same situation, perception facisnates me so anything that analyzes life, why or how things are done, and self help books. Some of my favs.. celestine prophecy/empathetic civilazation/holographic universe/fouragreements/powerofnow

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have seen to date is walking through Melba Gully in the great ocean road, it was pitch black 11pm and noone knew we were trekking through a rainforest just the two of us with a torch, in search of the famous glow worms that light up the rainforest at night... as we walked through (terrified but exhilerated) we reached about a km and a half in, and we switched off the torch... There it was the soft sound of waterfalls, and millions of little lights surrounding me for what seemed like miles. Just someting so surreal i dont think i could have even dreamt something so breathtaking. My favourite moment by far. words of advice. DO THE GREAT OCEAN ROAD!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an idea person, advertising, marketing, anything to do with people I feel like I could help. I like to think I have a general understanding, with my oh so empathic way I can literally put myself in someone elses shoes! accomodate to any person or situation. I could help with a hug, words of encouragment, (great cheerleader). I am also very helpful when it comes to presentations, public speaking. Ohh and I can drywall. lol and drive a skyjack? haha.(not joking)
Id love to learn how to garden organically, and live off the land, anything to do with nature is what I truly would love to engage right now!
