Most people call me "Dutch". I'm very Open-minded and always try to make the best of any possible situation. I didn't get to travel much as a youngster so I have a ton to make up. I love meeting new, kind people and there is no one better to help you out than a friendly local.
I love to ride Bicycles

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I help share wisdom about my town/or other places I've experienced. Have a question? ask away! I know loads about Colorado and Michigan. I know of some great spots in the Northwest too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

1st time Couching was in Portland, OR my friend and I met this very nice guy named deadletter. He had a bed ready and fed us the 2 days we where there. He even let us borrow bikes to bike around Portland. Saturday night came around and he asked us if we wanted to go on a midnight bike ride. I said hell yes! We met up with other bicyclist in a park to start to my surprise there was about 100 people. The main guys said we're gonna ride 4 miles to a surprise. The whole group rode. We snuck into this park and we came to a awesome lagoon with a beach and a old train bridge that they had turned into a lounge/hang out spot. They had candles set for lighting and different unique live music that sounded great. They even had 2 Acrobats swinging around from a tree that was above the place. It was truly an amazing local experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The North West is sweet go when there is good weather I really like the North Cascades in Washington, but Oregon > Northern Cali its all amazing. Michigan is like a hidden gem. There are nice beaches and tons of fresh water, plus you get the best of every season COLORADO is the top of America this is where I chose to reside, so many things to explore. Those are my 3 favorite places in America.
