About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see live the 4 Tennis Grand Slam! Roland Garros / Wimbledon / US Open, checked!

ABOUT ME

My friends would probably say that I am a smiling and warm kind of person. I like meeting them down the pub for few drinks, at home for a poker/any card games, sport session (Tennis Foot Beach volley).
Some of them also say that I smoke too much, and they were right, so I stopped now. Nearly 2 months without a cigarette... yihaaaa!
That's enough about me, you'll know more when we meet, see ya

Edit: 12 months now since I stopped ciggies :)
Edit2: I now smoke occasionally, I AM an idiot

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This is my first days here, this section will be updated in few months ;)

Edit: very positive experiences so far, wherever I traveled, locals were always up to meet for a drink and show their city around.
And I will definitely start hosting once I settle down, lot interesting members to meet out there.

Edit2: Now that I live on my own (flatshare was niiice but annoying after few years) I decided to host once in a while in Barcelona. We'll see how it goes

Interests

I have a passion for Taekwondo. I am training hard so I can enter big competitions soon.
Ultimately I will get my certification in order to open my own school, where I will teach this art to the kids. I cannot wait !

My other thing is sport (especially football and tennis). You have no idea how excited I am about the Olympics in London! My favourite football team is Marseille, and I'm a fan of Andre Agassi, that I met in London 2 years ago when his book was released in England. What a story teller, his conference was awesome.

I also love many other things (playing pool, travelling, many cards games...), maybe we'll talk about it when we meet.

Edit2: I had to slow down sports after I broke my Achilles (this is painful, believe me), but I am going back to TKD slowly, which is good. I also discovered Beach Volley since I moved in Barcelona, really fun with friends and good exercise.

Music, Movies, and Books

Paul Arden's book
Music, I like oldies from the 70s 80s (RocknRoll mainly) , and that is pretty much it
Movies, the list is too long
TV series, same but in my Top 5: The Wire, Oz, 6 Feet Under, Deadwood, The Shield, Justified, Friends,... (ok it's more than 5, I really can't choose)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On top of my head:
- Jeitta Grotta is a cave located near Beyrouth. I have never seen anything more beautiful... The color of the water, this silence, the millions of stalagmites...
- the Etna volcano in Sicily. 40 degrees in Catania, we are lying on the sand and enjoying the sun. 40mn later we are on the volcano, it rains cats and dogs, and the wind is so strong that you cannot run (unless you wanna learn how to fly!)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share a laugh, a drink, the couch in my living room.
I'd be glad to learn anything (I'd love to learn Salsa or Tango!)
And I can teach you basics of Taekwondo / Tennis / English / French / teach you how to play Chess, Backgammon and many Card Games if you fancy

Countries I’ve Visited

Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Lebanon, Morocco, Netherlands, Slovakia, Spain, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
