COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far its been great, I've hang out a lot with ocasional surfers in Rio, I'm not able to host at the moment because I live with my family, but I really like doing CS activities that envolve going out to dance or trips "into the wild".

music: I like very different kinds of music: from indie-rock to world music, from brazilian mpb to american oldies. My favorites are: radiohead, sonic youth, qotsa, rokia traoré, the kinks, amadou et mariam, beirut, nina simone, billy holiday, pj harvey, elis regina, chico buarque, jp simões, sérgio godinho, talking heads, the smiths, dEUS, nico, rodrigo leão, velvet underground, tindersticks, fela kuti, ali farká touré, staff benda bilili and many many others.

movies: mainly old movies, specially nouvelle vague and film noir, but I also enjoy watching american and european independent movies

books: portuguese literature of course (josé luís peixoto, gonçalo m.tavares, josé saramago, dulce maria cardoso), but I also like paul auster, italo calvino, garcia marquez, among others.
