About Me

ABOUT ME
I'm currently living in France with a working holiday visa!
I am a marketer that studied and worked in Mexico City (crazy and amazing city) and I decided to take a break from the average grown up life and decided to apply to get the working holiday visa. It's been great, even considering the pandemic took over the world.

Background:
I did a exchange program in Brazil through Rotary Club 8 years ago and another one in Bangkok Univeristy. This gave me the chance to meet a lot of nice and friendly people and encouraged me to meet more people from different countries and share mexican culture, which makes me very proud.
I'm a food lover so if you teach me how to cook your country's food I will let you try some real mexican food.

PHILOSOPHY
Feel, think and do whatever you want! Stop worrying about what others will think about you and live your life your own way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was recently hosted in the Philippines and in Malaysia by amazing hosts who really inspired me to keep being active in this community. I also met many couchsurfers who were travelling in Southeast Asia.
I've hosted couchsurfers in Bangkok and back in Mexico and I can say it was an amazing experience. I think there is something you can learn from the others. I've been blessed to find really glod hosts in Southeast Asia and that always inspire me to keep been active jn this community. Also, I have gone to some CS events and I had a really good time chatting with more people with the same interests than me. I have attended many cooking events and I really loved it. I believe that food is a good way to get to know others culture. I also love hanging out with some travelers and show them around when I'm not able to host them

Interests

To discover new places, even in my own city. I love meeting and chatting with people from other countries. I think you can learn a lot just by listening to someone else's opinions and experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

Gee, that's a good question. I really love all kinds of music (depends on my mood) and I like comedy and fantasy movies. I can say that I'm a Potterhead, so I can watch that movies all day haha.
I love thriller and fantasy books. My last adquisition was The Psychoanalyst and I highly recomment it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I believe anything can be amazing if you are with the right people.
Anyways I have had some really good experiences in my own country and some others abroad.
- Exchange program in Brazil through Rotary International. This allowed me to live with 2 wonderful families who considered me as her daughter.
- Spending 10 days in the Amazon river, sleeping in a boat full of hammocks and crazy exchange students. Swimming with the pink dolphins was such a great experience!
- A second exchange program by my university, but now in Bangkok, Thailand. Living by my own and surrounded by great friends.
- Backpacking along Southeast Asia. But the highlight of my trips is definitely Myanmar. Just an unreal and beautiful country with amazing people.
- Chatting with a Buddhist monk in Chiang Mai, Thailand
- Bathing a family of elephants in mud.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can invite you a cup of tea/ coffee/beer and a good conversation. I like to share what I know and listen what they can share with me. I really enjoy taking people to the places I like and show them how beautiful the city and life can be. I also love cooking, so we can cook our country's typical meals!
