ABOUT ME

I'm just a fun, wee Northern Irish girl, travelling the world with my Swiss man Thomas after graduating from Finland and teaching in Austria!

We prefer to host people who are able to figure things out independently. Of course we can help you and give some of our best tips, but we don't always have the time to show you around the city.

I love being around people, organizing events and meeting new people (though don't be offended if it takes me a while to get your name! ;))

I'm happy to chill out with people or go and be more adventurous!

音乐、电影和书籍

I have a pretty diverse taste in movies, music and books, but adore each of these things! I can be a sucker for rom coms, but love a good thriller/drama movie. When it comes to books, I generally read what people recommend to me so it can vary a lot! Music depends on my mood, but at heart, I'm kind of an alternative rock/indie kind of girl.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Impossible to say just one! I love being by water (the sea, ocean or lake) and being mesmorised by it. But amazing landscape of other kinds can leave me awestruck (for example, Lapland and Switzerland are both capable of this, despite being entirely different!) Recently did the highest swing in the world (Nevis Swing) and bungy jumped in New Zealand! That was scary...!

You don't have to be together to be together. This I have learned through travelling.
Also, learn to love snail mail again - there is nothing like receiving a letter or postcard that was unexpected!
I'm trying to learn German, and appreciate any help with this! (Germans, Austrians, Swiss, whoever!)
