About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Global happiness

ABOUT ME

I love exploring the world - getting to know people and places. I can be shy, but I love to laugh and have real conversations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Haven't participated as much as I'd have liked, but love it for the joy of meeting people and the affordability. It's a great community. Trying to travel more, and want to host once my living situation makes some more sense.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with some wonderful people in Paris, hosted a cool guy in London, and otherwise have used it as fuel to remind me that I can travel well - my early traveling life was always staying with family and family friends who I usually didn't know too well, but it was the best, so this is like an extended version of that.

Interests

The environmental and social justice movements; radical and forward thinking art, fashion and theater; funky random adventures; animals; live music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going for a walk without my cell phone.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm. I can cook and draw and knit and maybe build a fire. Sharing is good.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Joy? Maybe some tasty treats. If you have any regional requests let me know! Sometimes I have maple syrup from my Massachusetts neighbors, Philly has lots of Amish stands in the market.
