About Me

CURRENT MISSION

As cliché as it sounds I'm trying to live my best life - from exploring the world in all its forms, having a positive impact on others, to working a job that I love !

ABOUT ME

Open-minded, I like to believe I'm an easy-going person - I enjoy learning from others and sharing experiences. I love talking especially when it comes to music and traveling!

I appreciate people with a sens of humor and ready for an adventure!
I also try to enjoy simple pleasures of life - Your favorite song on the radio? A sunny day ahead of you? A stranger smiling at you? I always try to find something that will cheer me up on a daily basis - if not, then make it happen! :)

PHILOSOPHY

"If it's worth the fall, then take the risk."
"If it's meant to be, then it will be."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I discovered CS about 7 years ago when I moved to DC.
A couch surfer, who is now a true friend of mine, introduced me to the whole experience and I instantly loved it !
I haven't been here in a while but I just moved to a new place and I'd like to be in the game :)

I'm considering hosting again but I'm trying to keep a balance between all my different activities. I receive up tp 50 requests a week so don't take it personally if it takes me a couple days to go through all of them and get back to you ! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a few CS experiences over the past years. It all started with a camping trip, where I ended up trying "tent surfing" with other couch surfers - what a blast! I also went to happy hours and regular events in the DC area. Also, I went on a 3-week road trip on the West coast a few summers back, and met awesome people thanks to CS!

Back in Paris I also hosted in my previous flat and had a very fun time. I'd like to enjoy the many events available on CS but it gets quite tricky with my already busy schedule !

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm open to a lot of things really !

In terms of movies I recently loved Bohemian Rhapsody (probably because of the soundtrack :p) but I also really enjoyed The Help and laughed a lot watching Get Hard. When it comes to music, I'm pretty much down for anything but heavy metal - it goes from Bob Marley to Mozart but also Band of Horses or Aretha Franklin. As for books, I'm usually following friends' recommendations, so it can be anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Went on a solo road trip to Mexico
- Participated in a traditional Thai wedding in Thailand

Teach, Learn, Share
