About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learning, traveling and helping others

ABOUT ME

I am 29 years old and currently on a path that I never would have expected for myself. Having always been very interested in human psychology and sociology I always pictured myself moving in that direction educationally, playing with some individual classes while living in the U.S. Having grown up in both Denmark and Massachusetts in the U.S. I've always been interested in traveling and experiencing new cultures. When I went to India in 2012 I found a whole new path for my life through yoga and meditation, where I have found patience and a whole new level of understanding of the human condition. I also found CranioSacral Therapy which got me interested in anatomy and lead me back to school in Denmark where I finished my Physical Therapy Diploma in 2017. I love living and practice gratitude every day, exhaling love with every breath as I have found this upwards spiral to be the meaning of my life.

PHILOSOPHY

At this point in my life I have realized how important it is to be happy and appreciate the moment instead of looking for things that are missing. I have met many amazing people who share this point of view on life and these have led to some of the most inspiring relationships I've ever had!

Couchsurfing seems like the perfect opportunity to meet these kinds of people, who are willing to open their homes to strangers because they know a stranger is just a friend you have yet to get to know.

I believe that humanity has hit rock bottom in regards to our ignorance about nature and ourselves, and I strongly believe that times are changing and that people are waking up from this dull state. All over the place people are starting to question modern science and asking, what else is there? And I think that asking the right questions is better than finding the answer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every moment I spent in India made a huge impression on me and my way of interacting with others and viewing the world. The most important thing I learned was to abandon fear and not to let this element control what I do and don't do. When I no longer had fear in my heart I met the most beautiful and amazing people, that may otherwise have passed me by.

First time I tried yoga was in San Francisco. It was a 3hour session of Ashtanga yoga and it blew my mind. It spoke to my soul and made my heart and mind sing in harmony. I decided right then and there that yoga was something I would dedicate my life to pursuing, if not full time then always on the side. It was mainly what brought me to India, so without this amazing experience I would not be as I am today.

My first CranioSacral Therapy session where the healer was able to correct the slight scoliosis that I had been told I would have to live with and that I had been suffering under since birth. A true testament to the healing powers that most humans never learn to harness, let alone acknowledge.
