I'm a fun loving, adventurous, curious soul, with a calm and kind demeanor. I've got three wonderful grown children who live in three different states. I just moved back to the U.S. after living abroad for almost 5 years. Most recently I lived in Istanbul, Turkey for almost 3 years. I've only been in New Orleans for a few weeks and I'm hoping to settle here. I've been curious about couch-surfing for years, but have yet to have the opportunity to use it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting people and making friends. I love finding commonalities with people who on the surface may seem very different from myself.

Interests

I enjoy cooking, traveling, museum hopping, reading travel memoirs, and treasure hunting (Goodwill and Salvation Army).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer I finally got to fulfill a dream I deferred many years ago. I spent several weeks traveling through Europe independently, solo, on a small budget.
