About Me

ABOUT ME

Born in Seville (Spain) I moved three years ago to Leuven (Belgium) to study a joint degree on Law and Economics.

I got acquainted with Couchsurfing while travelling around with Interrail. Some of the people I met encouraged me to sign up. It's an interesting way to meet foreign people and truly learn about other cultures while travelling.

Things I enjoy: learning languages, travelling, reading, jogging, biking, listening to music, hanging out with my friends and getting to know people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted and being hosted by people. I've also participated in several CS meetings while in Austria and Germany.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I don't really have a big "formal" "CouchSurfing" experience, I've been raised in the same philosophy CS is based on: hospitality, openness to other people, eagerness to learn about other cultures and languages, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: La vita 'e bella, Gran Torino, the Pixar Movies, Into the Wild, Wes Anderson's movies and so many others.

Music: Mostly Hip Hop, Jazz and Electronic music. Some of my favorites: Run The Jewels, Burial, Frank Ocean, Mulatu Astatke, The Field, Kendrick Lamar...

Books: I love to read and always try to make some time for it. I mostly read non-fiction on history, economics, politics and so on. However I always enjoy to read good fiction, some of my favourite writers: Stefan Zweig, Fyodor Dostoyevski, Oscar Wilde and Ian McEwan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Exchanged the sunny Seville for rainy Leuven, Spanish for Dutch and a comfortable home for independence. Loving the experience and encouraging all my friends to discover the world.
