About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be location independent.

ABOUT ME

Not good at describing myself by textbox or questions like "Tell me about yourself."

I'm not a fan of the small talk. Let's just shoot the breeze like we know each other, and we'll know each other right quick.

But the basics

Colombian born/Florida raised 🇨🇴🇺🇸🐊
Studying Computer Science 🤓💻
Movie buff🎥

PHILOSOPHY

Don't take yourself too seriously.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't host or travel at the moment, so what I've been doing lately is going out on the town with locals and travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

With my first traveler, showed her around, then lost my car and wandered for an hour. Was still fun.

Met some people in a West Palm CS event to shared Mexican food, and Halloween ideas.

About a year after, with one of those same couchsurfers, I made my way down to Key Largo and met some great people from Mexico, Bolivia, and France.

Interests

All things interesting.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: I know it sounds cliche and unoriginal as all hell. But I like pretty much everything. Basically anything with a good sound. Last song I had on was "Clouds" (Pabzzz)

MOVIES: Anything with a good story. That or mindless action/comedy is fun too. Last thing I watched was "In Bruges"

BOOKS: Typically nonfiction but currently reading the Alchemist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Held a ball python, scorpion, tarantula, and a baby alligator as a kid. Like a true Floridian.

Jumped over a river of ants 1/2 a meter wide and trekked through old stone steps through rainforest to paradise (Tayrona)

Seen a giant manta ray in the wild.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Cooking for sure, English/Spanish, and guitar

Learn: I'm glad to learn just about anything my host/surfer wants to teach, but I'd really like to be better at surfing, and/or dancing.

Share: Drinks, jokes, stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Recipes, booze, and good company. I'll come up with more, probably.

Countries I’ve Visited

Colombia, United States
