ABOUT ME
My husband and I started on couchsurfing in 2012 but he died in 2020. I would love to continue to do couchsurfing as soon as it is safe to do so. I am retired and happily live in a beach town that I consider paradise! Even though I live in our paradise, I still love to travel and do as much as I can. I love to learn about other cultures as well as share my paradise with others. I love to ride my bike, kayak, swim in the ocean/gulf,hike,anything to do with nature. I love to read non-fiction and research many different subjects on the internet. I love watching the dolphins and whales. I also recently started dancing and love music.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life by the Golden Rule: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We mostly hosted couchsurfers from all over the world and had a great time! I would prefer to host women or couples. I am in a relationship and would not be able to host single men. I would like to host events in our area in the future also.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although we just started hosting a couple of years ago we have had many awesome experiences. We have made friends that we keep in touch with and enjoy following their blogs. It gives us much joy to share our blessings with people from all over the world. We love travelers on long journeys too!

Intereses

I love nature,kayaking,camping,hiking,music, dancing and riding my bike. Love traveling to other countries and meeting people and learning about their culture. Interested in homesteading,self-sufficiency,herbal medicine,saving money. We also love to go to thrift shops!

Música, películas y libros

I like to watch movies that are non-violent and have a positive message. Nature movies,documentariesHands, Eat,Pray,Love,Pay It Forward. I love the rock music from the 60's-Eagles,Rolling Stones,Allman Bros,Peter,Paul and Mary, James Taylor, John Denver,etc. I love Yanni!
Love reading books about travel, herbs and natural healing, self-sufficiency.

Algo increíble que he hecho

There are so many amazing things we have done and seen. It is hard to pick just one. We were recently in Mexico and were able to go whale watching. It was so incredible to be so close to them. At one point, they even swam under our boat. We also went to Magdelena Bay last year, to be where the whales give birth in the warm waters during the winter migration.

I believe in "When the student is ready the teacher will appear". We are all the same in many ways, but we all have our gifts that we can share with each other. i would love to learn what others would like to teach me and share what I know with them.

I would love to share my paradise with others. If you would like we can go to our beaches, kayak,ride our bikes, take you to a drum circle on the beach. I can teach you about herbs. Show you how to save money.
