ABOUT ME
I just moved to Shanghai and I will be hosting once I'm all settled in. I'm up for meeting if you're around and I'm not working.

I'm originally from San Diego, California and like any good california girl, I love the outdoor life. Give me a mountain, surfboard, snorkel, bicycle, forest, rock-climbing harness, snowboard, whatever - I am up for it.
If it's sunny out, then even better!

I'm pretty relaxed and easy going, I'm all about options vs plans. I enjoy being creative and am always up for a conversation about new ideas.
I find people, with their quirks and warts and hopes and dreams, endlessly fascinating. I think that every interaction with a person offers an opportunity to learn something and evolve from it.

Basically, I'm just a friendly, open minded person who likes to go off the beaten path and have adventures occasionally.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to cook for people so it doesn't matter if I'm surfing or hosting, you're getting fed at least once.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I attended the 2012 CS Vienna Calling (which was lots of fun) and surfed in Mumbai & Singapore. Everyone I've met thru CS has left a positive impression on me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Bill Bryson, James Herriot, Cormac McCarthy, Malcolm Gladwell, James Clavell, anything and everything.

Music: I'll listen to anything at least once. My main fav's are indy, rock, blues, deep house. Pretty much anything besides modern country and death metal.

I love finding/sharing new music with people so show me what your favorites are pretty please. Seriously, I love books & music like a fat kid loves cake & ice cream.

Movies: Drop Dead Gorgegous, Wall-E, The Cooler, Le Parfum, Labyrinth, Anchorman, In Bruges, Pan's Labryinth

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sold 97% of my belongings, bought a one way plane ticket and travelled across Asia and Europe for 2.5yrs.

By far, the scariest and best decision I've ever made.
