I'm an American living in Melbourne for the past 7 years. I'm really friendly, but it might take a bit to open up to you. I look mad a lot, but I'm not, I promise! It's just my face.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a bit and love it. I've surfed a couple of times and met some great people. It's definitely more fun than a hotel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've made some lifetime friends through CS. I love meeting people from around the world and taking the time to introduce them to the wonderful city that is Melbourne. I'm looking forward to surfing more and seeing cities through the eyes of my hosts.

Interests

I love to cook and feed people. I will make anything from scratch. And I will do it vegan.

I like to relax to an album and a j.

I have fun painting and taking pictures. They're two things I really enjoy, although I don't claim to be good.

I learned how to scuba dive last year and am now super keen on it. I've gotten my advanced open water and next plan to complete my divemasters. I love exploring the world under us. It's incredible. Like being on another planet. It just gives you a new appreciation for creatures so different from us. And have you ever played with a fish?!

I like most music. A couple favorites are Death Grips and Thelonious Monk.

Catch-22 is a great book. I can't help but laugh out loud when I read it.
