ABOUT ME

Oh haaay!
I am a young nature loving yogi currently living in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I spend the majority of my time studying, dancing aggressively, hiking, immersing myself in music, appreciating life's every twist and turn and being rocked by every wave of my beautifully chaotic life. I am currently a part-time traveler and part time student, slowly but surely working my way towards my degree while also working my way around the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life day by day, giving as much as I can, and taking growth, self realization and awareness from every opportunity and encounter.

I want to participate in every way that I can. I have been couch surfing and hosting for years without using the site, but I am now involved for a reason- I love this community.

Interests

I just moved to Halifax after a few years of travelling. While I am a west coaster at heart, I am having a great time exploring Nova Scotia, and feeling the pulse of such a vibrant city. I love walking around Point Pleasant Park, people watching at the farmers market on the weekends, twisting and turning at the local moksha yoga studio and reflecting on how blessed I am. I am madly in love and loving every minute.

Music, Movies, and Books

Two of my all time favorite authors are Kahlil Gibran, and Albert Camus (among countless others). I am a total literature nerd and have a collection of books that are worth more than gold to me. I love music (as most do)- I love creating it, sharing it, feeling it, moving with it and closing my eyes and letting it flit about while I think.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well I have countless moments, stories and memories of moments that have left me completely awestruck, however I would much rather recount these face to face then type them here! I recently traveled to Iceland and hitch-hiked around the whole country for just over a month. The entire experience left me humbled, inspired and deeply moved. Among my favorite memories is days spent meditating in a small, isolated fjord town and hearing the early morning bird calls from the coziness of my tent.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to dance only using your jaw and make really amazing vegan lentil soup at the same time.
I would love to learn how to: speak Spanish, knit, and break dance.
I can share: stories, compassion, and wine.
