Sobre mí

CURRENT MISSION

to live more with less.

ABOUT ME

A Finnish girl living in Kajaani with her dog and a boyfriend. A former art school student and a girl scout.

Ex-vegan, nowadays trying to be more and more of a permaculturist since it's better for the planet than to eat soya exported from Argentina or even Austria. Although i am a caffeine and sugar addict.

PHILOSOPHY

"Hippies. They're everywhere. They wanna save the earth, but all they do is smoke pot and smell bad."

-Eric Cartman

Música, películas y libros

Book I love the most at the moment: David Mitchells Cloud Atlas. Also A.W. Yrjänä, a finnish poet. I'm quite a book worm, to be honest. Or as Yrjänä put it: " I always prefer books to men."

From TV-series Peep show is the only one I care about. OK, maybe Futurama aswell. Family Guy. American Dad.

BONUS: a writer I can't stand at all: Paulo Coelho. He's like McDonalds of mysticism. Disney-occultism. Seriously awful.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Once when couchsurfing in Slovenia I sort of got lost and it was getting late so i crashed at the police station and slept the night at their couch :---D

Found a homeless puppy in Bosnia and adopted her.

"Why Finnish people are so fucking depressed?"

"As all cultural stuff, this also is probably connected to geology. Our climate and soil has favored infrequent colonization where people haven't been in that much contact with each other. You can also see that influence in our language where it's typical to form complexed sentences and to listen to them patiently (unlike in for example in latin languages that can express very intense message just by a few syllables). These things can be seen in our everyday life, expecially in work and social culture, that are the very few reasons besides relatives to bring people together from far distances. For a Finn a social situation is always serious business, and you don't have to make many mistakes to endanger your position at work. Being together is a special occasion in our culture, not a default value. That's why conversation, how to place your words and what choices in life to make are always under observation."

And also I'd like to share my biggest regret. I was at Balkans and I didn't bring this little coffee pot thing with me ´cause "i hadn't any room in my backpack". I've missed turkish coffee ever since, WHY WAS I SO FUCKING STUPID? WHY? WHY???
