Having just defended my master's thesis, I moved to Brazil, my obsession for many years, to fulfill one of my most predominant dreams. Now, while trying to establish my life here, I am busy creating new dreams, to try and realize in the future. I am on a personal quest to squeeze out joy of every single given day and try to compliment my perspective on life, with fresh and vibrant gusts from other inspiring people. While on this highly egoistic quest, I take care, to only leave behind positive evidence of my me presence, that we all can appreciate. I am in love with novelty, travel and I am enthusiastic about meeting new people who give my mind something to ponder about. If i'm not to busy trying to move mountains, I'll be happy to show you around Florianopolis, my lovely island paradise.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has provided me with some of the most authentic and most exhilarating experiences on my travels and has allowed me to meet truly wonderful individuals while hosting. It has made me a better, more caring person. Since I host and surf, it has allowed me to help like minded individuals live out their wishes and in return, has provided me with help on living out mine.

Interests

I am an addicted thinker, a concerned phylantroph, an enlightened creator and a devoted musician. My life is an eternal search of a compromise, that will allow me to split time between photography, surfing, writing, dancing, studying and socializing, evenly. Whenever I can, I take a break to spend some time in the sun.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste constantly changes and is in an ongoing state of development. It is very likely though, that you will catch me with my nose buried into scientific literature on psychology, or in something by Hemingway if it is later in the day. No mater the time of day though, I don't think there is a wrong time to put on some well selected jazz, or some Van Halen.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am happy to share my insight into a slightly liberal take on Mediterranean cuisine, teach you a few chords on the acoustic guitar, show you how to approach surfboard or a skateboard and tell you all about Europe. I became addicted to dancing swing recently. If you want to impress on the dance floor, don't be shy and ask for a few tips. If you know how to dance, even better, you'll teach me something and we will go out dancing. I am modern art, music and design minded, and always up for a good debate or for soaking up a few words of your language or to improve my Italian, German, Croatian and Portuguese. I'll be pleased to experience some produce from your country too (hint: I love coffee & wine :) ), and show you what is delicious here in Brazil.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can lend you my surfboard if we go to the beach, you are welcome to play my guitar and if I have time, I can give you a ride and show you the island.
