About Me

All about me?? Seriously?? You don't want to know everything, otherwise you lose interesting in meeting me!!

If you want to know my motto (not easy to pick one) I would say 'Be the change you want to see in the world' (M. Gandhi), but only because it gives you authority if you quote someone, and because Gandhi actually WAS someone. Beside that, I think I love listening, talking, and learning from whoever is around me, much more than I like to express my own philosophy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I officially joined the program in 2012 after being an informal couchsurfer in Europe and Mali, and I immediately fell in love with it! Since then, I never travel without checking couchsurfing because all the experiences that I had as a surfer were amazing! Compared to staying at friends of friends'house, CS is making things much easier and multiplying the possibility to know the world through someone else's eyes!! And now that I've a spare room in the apartment, just drop me a line!

If I look back at the last years, I think I slept on more couches than beds.. it's simply a fascinating way of experiencing the real world that surrounds us!!

Interests

I studied law because I felt the need to use my energy and my time to contribute to causes that are too big for individuals (including myself). Life and people around me is what grabs my attention every day, and what makes my willing to engage with that. I try to balance my time between the academic work, my friends, soccer, family, eating, cooking, and meeting new friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I think that Tim Burton is, or at least used to be, like king Mida.

As for the books, unfortunately I have too many academics stuff to read.. but sometime I find interesting things among those boring academics and essays' writers.. I recommend Steve Biko to everyone who doesn't know him. And David Harvey in those moments when you are upset and want to change the world around you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the last incredible years that I've had, I have been so lucky to find myself in amazing adventures with people who I will never forget. One of the moments which I will always bring with me was the crepissage in Djenne (Mali), together with my arrival in the middle of the Peruvian Amazon to meet with the communities' leaders and study a legal strategy to protect their environment, economics and culture. But the list is soooo long, and it's getting longer every day I spend on this planet.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been thinking about writing something fancy and cool in order to attract your attention and let you say: 'wow! I want to learn how to ... too' but then I realized that the only thing I can exchange are my interest and my curiosity for more or less everything (and some Italian pasta or pizza whenever ingredients are available). So, I am the one who wants to learn from you (and watch out, because you will have to talk if we have the chance to meet)!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My passion, energy, curiosity and some home made Italian food!!
