About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Smile to life and life will smile back to you! :)

ABOUT ME

I'm friendly, open-minded, love travelling and discovering new places, new people, new ways of thinking! People say I'm shy at the beginning, but I just have to get comfortable with someone and you will not know how to make me stop talking :)
Coming from a small village I have always felt that was not my place in the world,I always wanted to see beyond those mountains and that close mentality. Everything started with an Erasmus in Germany that led me to living in four different countries and 6 different cities in the last 4 years. And I am still not tired of travelling and moving. I guess this is my destiny.

PHILOSOPHY

"Count your age by friends, not years. Count your life by smiles, not tears." John Lennon

"It's better to be an optimist who is sometimes wrong than a pessimist who is always right" Mark Twain

"Change the landscape around you and more often than not, your thoughts will change along with it. New places, though sometimes daunting and confusing, can give us perspective and new ways to challenge ourselves emotionally. Explore a foreign place, and you’re probably finding out just as much about yourself."

"Coming back to where you've started, isn't the same as never leaving. Sometimes you have to go far to see the near."

“You will never be completely at home again, because part of your heart always will be elsewhere. That is the price you pay for the richness of loving and knowing people in more than one place.”
—Miriam Adeney

"We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us"

YOU make the quality of your days.

If you don't like where you are, move. You are not a tree.

"Care more than others,
think wise.
Risk more than others,
think safe.
Dream more than others,
think practical.
Expect more than others,
think possible."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe in the importance of Exchange, ideas, visions, culture. It's the only way to overcome racism, prejudices and close-mindness.

The Couchsurfing experience was always very positive, gave me the chance of getting to know completely different people, with whom I would never have the chance to meet otherwise, exchange visions and opinions with them and open my mind :) With CS every time you live a completely different experience, you learn not to give anything for granted and adapt to other people´s life and habits. You also learn to trust people around you, you see the good side of the world.

Interests

Travelling, travelling, travelling, living my life 100%, trying to be nice with everyone!
Trying to keep in touch with all the amazing people I met on my way.
I love learning new languages, going to places I´ve never been to, learning about different cultures and hearing about ideas and visions of others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An unforgottable summer in Corfu with an unforgottable bunch of international people. An Erasmus experience with amazing people and parties. The sensation of being able to make it through the most lonely and difficult situations abroad. Papagayo beaches in Lanzarote, breathtaking, lonely, feel like the end of the world. A wedding of a very close friend, in Romania: dancing, traditions, fun, amazing experience! Another wedding in India, unbelievable country, unbelievable people, unbelievable atmosphere.
