ABOUT ME

Hola couch surfers! You meet me in a quite crazy time of my life. Some time ago I needed a kind of refreshment so I changed my life upside down. In other words, 6 months ago I started to travel and it went like that: Szczecin- Miami- Nassau, Bahamas- Sargasso Sea- Bermuda Triangle- Cape Canaveral- Charleston- New York City- Culebra, Puerto Rico- Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands- New York City- Brussels- and now Barcelona. I'm still looking for my next destination! The farther, the better! During my travel I mostly sail.

In my regular life I'm a psychologist working as a researcher at the university.

And last but definitely not least, I'm a real sea dog!!! :D Started when I was a child, since age of 16 I've been working as a sailing instructor or captain/mate of various sailing vessels on Baltic, North, Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean.

I cannot offer you place to stay, since I am homeless myself :) But I am always willing to meet and surf with you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I just signed up to CS, I know some surfers for a long time and I was even hosted by them.

Interests

sailing, rigging, boating, racing, cruises, night watches, day watches, all kinds of sailing vessels <3

Sailing is a big part of my life. Being exhausted, frozen, or laying on the deck, or being dirty with silicone and marine grease that sounds like a pure happiness to me!

Besides that, I am mad about my branch which is psychology, I also love to dance, practising yoga, listening to stories of other people, travelling. And I just adore learning new skills, doing things that I've never done, was scared of or not brave enough before.

Kryszka Baran a jazz vocalist and my sister in the same time is the most moving artist to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- watching a killer whale and manatees next to my boat
- bought one-way ticket to Bahamas and started a life of a traveller

Teach, Learn, Share

If you give me a boat I would be happy to teach you sailing technique. If you are more experienced than me, I would be even more happy to learn something new!

Also practising yoga together would be a great idea. Salsa or tango are good options as well!
