About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore the world, meet new people, make new friends, and enjoy life.

ABOUT ME

I can be a little shy at first unless we hit it off or the booze begins to flow. I'm basically a curious small boy who enjoys touching things and getting into trouble trapped inside an adult. Here are a few words that just about sum me up;

Travelholic, charming, clever, funny, smart ass, dreadlocks, red beard, non-conformist, saying the wrong things, compassionate, curious, generous to a fault, saying the right things, outdoors, motorcycle enthusiast, working hard, playing hard, driving fast, live music, passionate, bores easily, childlike sense of adventure, couchsurfing, stubborn, good listener, foodie, intelligent, organized, sailor, excellent cook (maybe), simple, complex, engineer, ingenuity, intuitive (in most cases), creative, sane, little crazy, level headed, confident, laughing so hard I piss myself....

PHILOSOPHY

Pursue Happiness.

It's my belief from personal experience that you can high five or dance your way out of just about every situation. If all else fails do both.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host. When I can't host I hang. When I can't hang, I try and keep tourists alive. Here's how;

French Quarter Survival Guide:

FRENCH QUARTER PREPAREDNESS. THINGS YOU SHOULD DO BEFORE YOU LEAVE YOUR DWELLING.

It is also noteworthy that this guide is more geared toward large events in the city where shit gets crazy. Such as; Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, major conventions in town, Halloween, or just a wild weekend.

-Drink several bottles of water. You might as well hydrate now, believe me you're gonna need it.
-Drop a Deuce. Clean toilets are hard to come by in the French Quarter, get it out of the way now.
-Masturbate. Your genitals can easily lead you in the wrong direction out here. You should begin your journey with a clear mind.
-Leave your hotel key with the hotels front desk, or host key under a flower pot. You will end up loosing it otherwise. Write Hotel's/ host address on upper arm with sharpie marker, write your room number on the other arm.

SURVIVAL KIT. THINGS YOU SHOULD KEEP ON YOU AT ALL TIMES

-ID or Driver's License, rubber banded to $60 in small bills in pocket.
-Mug Money ($13) in other pocket.
-At least $300 cash in shoe.
-A Pack of gum, Condoms, and a BandAid. Good food will make your breath funky, with fresh breath you might get laid, there's a good chance you'll get cut.

THINGS TO REMEMBER.

-If it can't stay in your pocket don't take it with you. Don't leave your cell phone on the bar. Carry cash and don't use your credit card for tabs; you will get drunk and leave it somewhere. Don't take your shoes off. Street performers, entertainers, bartenders, waiters, and strippers are all here to make your time in New Orleans a magical night that you'll never remember... TIP them accordingly!! Welcome to our Home!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Unforgettable moments I spent in Jerusalem. It's a bit difficult to put in words. Israel was the first country I visited abroad, so a lot of molds were broken here.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to survive the New Orleans night life with style, can show you how to tie beautiful yet useful knots, I can also show you how to play a ruthless game of island dominoes (shit talking included).

I'm like a sponge when it comes to learning, especially if I get to put my hands on it. I'll pick up any knowledge you're willing to drop.

I'm willing to share my house, stories, laughter, tears, except the beer that I'm drinking,

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Belize, Canada, Israel, Italy, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Taiwan, Trinidad and Tobago, United Arab Emirates

Countries I’ve Lived In
