About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To dance, laugh, love, and live

ABOUT ME

I am relaxed, super easy-going, enjoy long interesting conversations with good company, and love meeting new people from different cultures and contexts. Trying new things, meeting new people, and traveling I love movement and travel for me has always been about the trip and not the destination. For me the best things have always been spontaneous situations that were completely unplanned and unexpected.

PHILOSOPHY

I am not sure if I really have one particular philosophy. For me life is one crazy, complex place that we (as humans) seem to complicate even further whenever we have the chance. If I have a current philosophy it would be to live as close to now as possible, while accepting the craziness and disorder inherent in life and our inability to fully understand it. But most importantly, we (our own selves) are generally the main cause of any discord or unhappiness in our lives. We choose to react in the ways we do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just signed up a little while ago, however I am offering my couch, good company, good local knowledge, and some trips to the outdoors or climbing if you like either.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch-surfed with other friends who are members.

Interests

I love to read, write, listen to music, dance, and learn languages. Nature has always been an important part of my life. I love climbing, and any free time I have I enjoy going on climbing trips to areas here in Sweden or to other countries. Travel and climbing complement each other well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in Argentina left me absolutely enamored of the country and addicted to travel. Everything in Argentina was something novel and amazing. Overall I don't think it would be possible to mention just a few moments that have affected me greatly and left me awestruck. There have been many crazy, sublime, and powerful moments. However it is always people, especially their hospitality and generosity, especially under challenging conditions that seems to amaze me the most. That and the power and feeling that nature evinces when we extricate ourselves from society and the city life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Try meditation. It is a unique experience.
