About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am currently working for a non-profit organization in Tbilisi Georgia.

ABOUT ME
Originally from Los Angeles:
I have been a musician, writer and my newest addiction has been learning Foreign Languages. What excites me about learning a language is not so much the language itself but the cool people and friendships that I make. Learning a new language is like becoming another person; with this new mentality, I learn about new cultures and discover wonderful things.
PHILOSOPHY

"Only after we lose everything, are we free to become anything".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, I don't have an extra bed.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have mainly used couch surfing to meet people but up to this point no sleepovers. When visiting a new country, it's nice to meet new people and really learn about the culture.

Interests

I like sports, language (as I already mentioned) traveling, trying new food, meeting new people, dancing (depends on the music) and experiencing new cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

In terms of movies, I am open-minded to just about anything but I especially like comedy and an mystery films. I am also open-minded to various types of music but lately, I have been listening to lots of Brazilian music and dub-step. As far as books go, I prefer non-fiction; history, economics, current events. I like to peep through the newspaper every now and then. I find that history repeats itself and it is seen and hard everyday.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've travelled through Uzbekistan and was invited by a random local family for a birthday celebration.

Teach, Learn, Share

The one thing that I can definitely share is my passion for teaching. Whether you are a beginner or advanced n English or Spanish, I can teach you in a relaxed way in which you, the learner, will benefit. i understand what it means to learn a new language. It's not just learning, it's making yourself vulnerable and at the same time it's a step into a new world. For many people, this can be scary. But I say, relax, focus on what you can do, be positive and don't be concerned with the things you can't do and the things you don't know. Patience...
