ABOUT ME

I am a Forestry student in Hawaii and a seasonal Cast Member for Walt Disney World Orlando, Florida. Since my classes are not available at the moment I decided to take advantage of my year long branch and explore Europe. I am currently living in Zürich, Switzerland as an Au Pair and using my weekends to discover what this side of the planet has to offer. I am a whimsical soul who enjoys creating happiness. If you do not laughter beware, I am known to have "giggle fits" and laugh for no reason at all.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life day to day. A day is not accomplished unless I create happiness within someone else. With each person is a different past that has molded their personality and helps direct their own path and although we are all different, when our paths cross we can share the ride for however long need be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although I do not have a couch to offer, I would love to help show other surfers around Zürich but I also do not know this city too well yet. My main contribution into the CS community is giving advice on trips to Hawaii.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted friends of friends and absolutely love the experience. Being in a college town I had a lot of friends (originally from elsewhere) whom had their friends and family come visit. I would host them and show them Hawaii through my view. Taking them to the best sights and restaurants also while keeping them way from tourist traps and helping them understand the difference in culture. It is always more fulfilling to learn about the culture and see an area through a locals eyes rather than a tourist pamphlet.

I dedicate a lot of my free time to volunteer work mainly based around youth creating a connection with their natural environment.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to any and all types of music, it doesn't need lyrics or a "good bass" to get me hooked.
I do not normally watch movies or television and I am getting really into Game of Thrones, the book series though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i have swam with sharks, dolphins, and my most amazing experience a Hawaiian Monk Seal which swam alongside me and circled around me (known to be dangerous in close encounters)
