Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finding someone to proof-read my Ph.D. thesis ;)
ABOUT ME
I'm open-minded, communicative, interested in travel stories... and I'm sometimes impatient. I also like collecting funny words such as bumblebee, jellyfish and Binnenmajuskel (CamelCase in English)... but I dislike huge crowds :)...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host and surf couches ;)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed in the US (New England) three times and it was great! Stayed in Vermont and Maine and enjoyed the time with my great hosts!
Back at home, we hosted several really cool people from Israel, Canada and Australia... I love experiencing my home town together with my surfers ;).
Interests
Well... I'm working, but I love my work :) I'm researching the topics I'm particularly interested in and I have great colleagues... I travel a lot (either for work or for sightseeing - I even try to mix it, calling it scientific tourism ;). I read a lot, listen to music, go hiking... just an ordinary life...
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Comedies and series (Greys Anatomy, How I Met Your Mother...)
Music: Icelandic music such as Of Monsters and Men, Sigur Ros
Books: Swedish crime stories and everything related to my thesis ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent a few days in northern Sweden (north of the polar circle) in January (it is not as dark as you might expect!) and was fascinated by the overwhelming nature in Iceland during a summer stay...
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you German, but I prefer to learn other languages. I like to share vegetarian/vegan cooking recipes.
Countries I’ve Visited
