About Me

ABOUT ME

Hi, My name is Pep, I am Australian with a Lao background and was born in Thailand. I work in the aviation industry with helicopters. People when they first meet me are surprised how deep my voice is and my australian accent. I love travelling, music and sport, especially football (soccer). I enjoy trying new things and learning about other cultures. In general, I am a really easy going person and I am looking forward to meeting locals on my travels.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosted by an awesome chick in Poland and now I'm starting to host when I have the time.

Interests

I enjoy cooking and can make a mean pasta from scratch as well as lots of Thai/Lao food. I am an outdoor type and if I'm not watching sport, I like to go out and play football. I also love camping, fishing and music festivals. I am lucky to live so close to the beach and I try to spend as much time as I can there in summer. Finally, I have a huge passion to travel and meet new people. My goal is to go to as many countries as possible before I die!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I left Thailand when I was really young and I only had the chance to go back for the first time three years ago. I stayed with my family in Lao and had the most awesome experience. It was so great to see my family for the first time and experience a country that I had never been to before but felt so familiar. My other moment was the first time I ever went overseas, I arrived in London at 6am in the morning, feeling lousy from jetlag but full of excitement! I'll never forget the feeling of catching the travel bug for the first time.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Laos, Malaysia, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City State, Viet Nam
