About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Living in the moment

ABOUT ME

I love the outdoors, meeting new people, cappuccinos, and adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

I keep it simple:

Be good to people & be in the moment

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I did a little surfing in Spain two summers ago, and hope to do more in the future. I am currently living abroad in Cologne and would love to meet up with some English speakers (as my German is still quite poor!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to couchsurfing.org, but I've crashed on numerous coaches. Always respect your host. Be open minded and go with the flow.

Interests

Cycling, rock climbing, the beach, music, good food, cool people, yoga, designing things, solving problems. I'm really open to just about anything. New is good.

Music, Movies, and Books

I just love music in general. Makes me feel alive. Everything from jazz to rock, classical to rap, with a couple exceptions: I don't like country, with the exception of Johnny Cash (I'm not sure why he gets lumped in with country anyway...).

For film- my favorites are old film noir and spagetti westerns. Quentin Tarantino. Wes Anderson. I love Christopher Walken, despite the innumerable terrible movies in which he appears. I'm a little bit style over substance when it comes to movies.

I don't read enough, but: anything by Vonnegut, Unbearable Lightness of Being, The Stranger... Lord of the Rings

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first thing that jumped into my head was galloping horses thru a flooded quarry on Cozumel in a downpour, breaking a stirrup, nearly getting trampled, and holding it together. Very uncharacteristic of my klutzy self.

Teach, Learn, Share

I used to race bikes pretty seriously. Want some tips on cycling? Bike maintenance? I've got more knowledge then you want!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, Sweden

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
