About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To become a modern day nomad in this wicked world of ours

ABOUT ME

I'm Venezuelan, born and raised, so given that I've spent such a big part of my life here, right now I'm at that point where I just wanna travel endlessly around the world.

I consider myself quite a nice guy, maybe a bit of an eccentric character, but in a cool way. It's also been brought to my attention that I can be quite a good host, but you must also know that if we're spending time together I will probably talk a LOT!

If you host me I guarantee you will not be bothered in any way whatsoever :-)

PHILOSOPHY

"Nothing is true, everything is permitted..."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've gotten a few of my friends to join the site, try to host frequently and probably will never travel again without using CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Starting using Couchsurfing some months prior to my trip to Turkey and I'm glad I did, my journey would not have been the same without it, met lots of interesting people and got to do some pretty cool stuff thanks to it. Couchsurfing is definitely the best way to travel!

I've also hosted some people and it has always been a good experience.

Interests

There's a pretty wide spectrum of things that I find interesting, mainly: music, football (soccer) and sports in general, tech, finance, guitars, human interaction, knowledge, design, cooking, video games, architecture, art, law, finances, etc. Basically anything that riddles my mind :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm willing to listen any type of music, there's usually something I can appreciate in every composition. Nevertheless, I'm mostly a blues, blues-rock, rock, hard-rock kind of guy, some favorites are: The Rolling Stones, John Mayer, Calle 13, Carlos Gardel, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden, Steve Vai, Led Zeppelin, Paco de Lucía and flamenco in general, folk music, classical music, irish music, venezuelan folk-classical music and heavy metal.

I enjoy a lot of types of movies, from freaky existential things, to good old silly comedy, heck I even enjoy your occasional chick flick.

I must confess I don't read nearly as much as I seem to or should, but if you know a good book I might enjoy I'll probably read it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Paragliding, hot air balloon flight in Cappadocia, snow (it's pretty amusing if you're from Venezuela), almost getting killed by hooligans, almost getting killed by non-hooligan related people, basically everything that happens in the movie "Eurotrip" and god knows how many other things.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a bit of Spanish or English, how to cook a couple of things, maybe share a hiking/trekking trip, teach you some guitar playing as well as write some music and definitively share some fun moments.

Regarding the learning part, I want to learn anything you can pass on to me.

Countries I’ve Visited

Aruba, Belgium, Brazil, Colombia, Czech Republic, El Salvador, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, United States, Venezuela

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States, Venezuela
