About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Far too long, I've been in the dark and cluttering my life with needless possessions, electronics, distractions occasional busy-ness and no space left for what really matters.

On a grander scheme of things, I am on a mission to declutter and simplify my life, a life that isn't constantly rushed but contemplation and creation, connection with people, gathering experience and time for nature and activity.

Otherwise, like my CSers, my current mission is to travel, connect with other CSers and experience the world as much as possible.

ABOUT ME

Hmm...this is always the hardest part for me!

I am very curious, open minded and patient person who loves without restraints or judgements about everything. I love little things in life and never take myself too seriously. Laughing with friends and enjoying my family are two of my favourite things.

I graduated from McMaster university in hamilton, Canada with an engineering degree, but never ended pursuing it as a career. As much as i loved engineering, I never saw myself working as one. I switched gears and completed short software course which has led me to where i am today, a software consultant and i absolutely love it!

Some facts about me:

I started my own clothing business, 'Hebe Apparel', along with few friends at age of 20. With young age, comes the stubbornness, inexperience and the stupidity. Needless to say, Hebe was fell through. However, it was a great experience, i learned quite a lot about stuff, money, business, people and most importantly about myself.

There was a point in my life where I was scared of heights! Due to this fear, I missed a great opportunity to climb one of the smaller peaks at the himalayas. On that day, I swore to myself that, i'd try my best to not let fear hold me back from doing anything. How did I get rid of this fear?? I'll tell you all about it when we meet! :)

I quit a job within the first month, because I learnt all i could about my task in the first week and I did not like that "this was it!". Props to my dad for understanding why I did this!

I did my first solo trip to Iceland in March 2014, bold move as i've never traveled alone and i fell in love with it!

PHILOSOPHY

As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives. - Thoreau
