Hello, we are Ellie and Mitko.

We think that one could truly explore a country by getting to know its people and culture. This is why we see Couchsurfing as an exciting opportunity to travel and meet new friends. We are curious, free-minded, pro-active and we will be happy to get in touch with nice people from all over the world. We are willing to host and also plan on surfing.

Interests

There are way too many. We both tango, read all kinds of books (fictional and not so fictional ones) and listen to nice music. We like travelling, especially by train but hitch-hiking is also great (although somehow slow at times).

Music: Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Scorpions, White Snake, Boney M, Eros Ramazzotti, Lenny Cravitz, Nirvana, Beatles, Queen, No Smoking Orchestra, ELO, Buena Vista Social Club, operas and musicals.

Books: sci-fi (Azimov, Simmons, Strugatsky brothers, Sergey Lukianenko...), fantasy (Pratchett, Martin, Tolkien, Zelazny...), old and contemporary classics, most notably the good old Russian classicists (Dostoevsky, Gogol, Tolstoy, Chekhov...)but also Steinbeck, Twain, Heller and many others that we cannot remember right now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ellie loves kids and animals. This isn't really an amazing thing I have done but still seems rather important.
