ABOUT ME

I love traveling because it reintroduces me to beauty of the world. It reminds me of how little I really need to enjoy myself. It gives me appreciation, a reason to look at things in a new light, a sense of compassion... A means to meet new people, share ideas, laughs, drinks, memories... I am bewildered by how often I am given kindness by strangers.
I find it hard to believe I have met so many nice people on my travels, yet in this same world, there is so much pain and suffering. So, basically, I hope to improve the ratios little by little!!

I am a big person for gratitude. I never let a day go by without being grateful for everything I have. I think this is a very important practice everyone should have!

Life is random. It's all what you make of it.

After University, I traveled around the world for 9+ months. I spent 3 months enjoying Tokyo life, and decided I didn't want to leave!! I found a job and switched my tourist visa to a 5 year working visa, and I have been here ever since ^^!
I've had a great life so far!

I love dogs and football. I have the best dog in the world, his name is Frodo and he is a Yorkshire terrier. If you met him, you'd love him. Unfortunately he does not like footballs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first learned about CS through my roommate who came from Germany.. I couldn't be more grateful--nothing has changed my life more. I have surfed in Israel, Costa Rica, California, the UK, Holland, Germany, Portugal....possibly some other places. I have likewise hosted people from around the world. Maybe I will get a country counter some one day on here.
