I'm currently traveling the world, setting up an online business and doing creative writing while I'm at it. I don't necessarily know in what country I'm gonna be in next week and I have no idea when I go back to Iceland.

This year, apart from traveling, I want to do more writing, reading, photography, and yoga. I love culture, music, art, vegan culinary arts, travel, and I'm also a little bit interested in pretty much everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is better because you get to have a real local experience. You get to see behind the wall that the tourist industries put up. Also, it's a greener way of traveling, the hotel business is very polluting.

So far I've only had great experiences!

Music, Movies, and Books

Books ... You know when someone asks you what your favourite book is and suddenly you forget every single book that you've ever read? I worked at a library so I'm forgetting quite a lot. Most of my favourite books are Icelandic novels. In English I do enjoy YA, biographies and self-improvement books; Harry Potter, In Order to Live, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Story of Stuff, 13 Reasons Why.

Movies ... depends on the mood. I've had pretty serious Giallo moments in my life where I only watch Italian horror films, but if the stress level is high in my life I can't watch any horror at all. I love documentaries, short films, art house and Hollywood blockbusters. I simply love storytelling, in any form.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've fought for refugee children in Iceland. I've promoted large scale concerts in Iceland. I've been a tour manager for a band. Now I'm traveling the world as a digital nomad.
