CURRENT MISSION

I've been fortunate enough to surf with quite a few people during my travels in the US of A. I am now back in Johannesburg, South Africa and want to give back to the community. If you need a place to crash then look no further.

Easy going guy who is keen to see the world, experience different cultures and make some lifelong friends along the way. I'm happiest when visiting new places and experiencing new things like random food, beautiful views and seeing things unique to a region.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in traveling, meeting local people, trying their cuisine, trying to see things from their perspective and have fun along the way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have previously surfed while I was on my travels. I am now back in Jhb and want to share some of the CS magic by hosting some peeps and showing them what Johannesburg has to offer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed while backpacking through the USA. It was an unbelievable experience! Met such rad people along the way and made so many epic memories!

Rock and alternative music. Not such a fan of pop!
I try read 2 books or more every month. Im pretty impartial as to what I read. I dont mind a bit of anything and everything. As long as its not a Mills and Boon romance novel. ha ha

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Backpacking through South and Central America
- Living in the Serengeti (Africas most famous game reserve) for a year
- Dived with whale sharks in Mozambique and South Africa
- Trekked gorillas in Uganda
- Taking a year off to just travel

Teach, Learn, Share

Can advise people about travel in Africa, backpacking through South America, a bit of business and accounting skills, as well as sports like rugby, cricket, hockey that arn't so popular.
