About Me

After being away from the Couchsurfing community for waaay too long, I'm back on and looking to travel and hopefully host!

I'm 27, living and working in Central London. I haven't travelled nearly enough over the past couple of years, but now I'm making up for lost time!

I work for a charity, and it's rad. I have stupidly long hours, but weekends and most evenings after 8 I'm free for fun.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 23 and work for a charity in Glasgow. Because of the work, I'm not able to travel as much as I'd like, and sadly can't host at the moment. Hopefully I'll be able to again soon!

Try everything once. Do what you like so long as it's not hurting anyone. Speak up for the voiceless.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Originally I was here to host people in Glasgow and Manchester; met some incredible people from all over the world and had a great time doing it. Now I'm in London, I'm looking to host a little, and head off on adventures elsewhere.

If you're looking for someone to explore London with, hit me up!

Interests

Politics and philosophy geek for life.

I like folksy nonsense. Camping and campfires and guitars and stuff. As a teenager I was heavily influenced by punk and DIY attitudes, and that feeling has always stuck with me.

If you can talk at length about nonsense or pop culture, we'll get along. Movies, TV shows, books, podcasts (so many podcasts).

Since I was 6 I have been an addict of Pro Wrestling, and it shows no sign of disappearing. It's a golden age for it, guys. Get on board.

Music, Movies, and Books

Frank Turner, Enter Shikari, Gaslight Anthem, Chuck Ragan, The Cure, Bon Iver, Reel Big Fish, Crass, Boards of Canada, folky punky bluesy ska-y rocky hardcory whatever.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We raced the sunset in Albania. Drove for 3 hours to a castle, got there just as the sun was setting, sprinted up the hill and through some ruined walls, and got to the cliff edge to watch the sun meet the horizon. It felt incredible.

Teach, Learn, Share

I spent way too long dealing with the politics of the negative. I'm trying my best to start talking about what a good, just world looks like, rather than just criticising the things I don't like. If you've got ideas, practical or just theories, I'd love to hear 'em.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I make pretty killer pancakes, IMO. I'm also still learning London so I'm no expert, but what I lack in knowledge I can make up for in shared excitement / made up facts.

And if you're visiting Glasgow after London, I can suggest tonnes of great places.

Countries I’ve Visited
