ABOUT ME

I moved to Alaska when I was 1 and have lived here for the majority of my life. I have a degree dealing with computers, but am still undecided on what I want to do for a living. I love Alaska, but I have always wanted to travel. I'm finally going to follow that dream and take a road trip across America the summer of 2013. I don't have any solid plans concerning it, except to see and experience as much as I can. Hopefully, this trip helps me to find out more about myself and what I want to do with my life.

PHILOSOPHY

If I say that I will do something or be somewhere, it will happen. I've lived this way for the past couple years and there have only been a few times where I had to make exceptions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing is only partially about finding a place to sleep or stay for a night. I believe that traveling isn't complete until you meet the locals and can see their home city or country the way that they see it. Everyone have such different ways of experiencing things that a trip to another country or location isn't complete unless you meet and befriend at least one local.

I've participated a lot when I was in Dublin, Ireland mostly meeting people new people at couch surfing events. In the future I would like to host travelers, but I live in an area of Alaska that nobody is interested in visiting. I'm between the more notable landmarks and cities. So far to date, I've only had 1 surfer and that was a great experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I finally had my first CouchSurfing experience in Dublin with a great group of fellow surfers. I had a blast going from pub to pub with them.

Interests

I spend the majority of my time hanging out with friends and trying to stay busy. A bit too much of my free time is spent playing video games. I plan on exploring and seeing what else is out there. Currently I'm interested in visiting Ireland.

I know a bit about computers and being outdoors. I'm sure there is more that I could teach others, but nothing else comes to mind right now.
