About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet you at the park and swing on the swings.

ABOUT ME

I enjoy worshiping with all people groups and all genders. I do my best to see the beauty in all people, regardless of their past or stories that are not necessarily uplifting. Traveling has been a big part of my life the past five years, and I will continue to do it has long as my hitch hiking thumb is in tact.

PHILOSOPHY

ELE, everybody love everybody. No mortal man is greater than the other. I believe God is love and is much bigger than religion and the ways religion trys to box God in and people in from worshipping.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will house you, please come my way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have a sleeping bag with me and have stayed with a lot of random people over the years, both through couchsurfing and knocking on doors. It's all the same, really.

Interests

Homeless people and mistreated children really grasp my attention. I like to spend time with homeless people when given the chance because they are very overlooked and judged, but really they hold much wisdom and knowledge concerning simple related issues and basic facts of life. Everyone has a life story or some type of turning event that led him/her to their current location and homeless people seem to have the best ones. They are people just like anyone else and are more real than most of the people that have "everything together" as well. Mistreated and abused children also have my heart because I have seen what abuse does to both children and adults. It hurts to see how this screws with a persons emotions and existence. I am currently studying Social Work to help this problem. I am not saying I am the answer to prayers for abused children, for I am just a bystander to most problems, but I want to help facilitate change for those who are treated like trash and abused.

I spend my time adventuring places most are afraid to because of the circumstances. I try to do one obstacle that scars me and try to go out of my way to serve someone everyday. Music inspires me and I have taught myself to play the drums, guitar, bass guitar and piano over the years because I find it so intense. I enjoy the good Lord, hitch hiking places, country music, an ice cold beer in my hand, puppet shows, tasty treats, dumpster diving, bungee jumping, smelling things, hard core shows, cold showers and many other activities that bring danger and life.

I think everyone should read the novel "Fight Club" and see the movie a few times before they die because there is a lot of truth in what is said in it. 'It´s only after we´ve last everything that we're free to do anything'-Tyler Durdan

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The hospitaltiy in Istanbul, Turkey and all over the entire country is unreal. As my friends and I were hitch hiking through to Greece and had low funds, people housed us, fed us and even paid for some bus tickets so we could advance farther to our destination. We were blessed with great xenia while there.

While studying abroad in South Africa, I was given the opportunity to bungie jump off the worlds highest recorded bungie jump. I did not want to do it because I am terrified of heights, but that is the reason I had to do it. It was terrifing and the most peaceful experience of my life. After you jump and you are dangling with your life support hanging from a rope, that´s when you begin to realize that nothing matters and life is very short.
