I'm a soon to be 25 year old gal with my heart in the north. As a culture analysis student I'm interested in... well culture I guess. For me that includes both how people understand the world and the things that makes it more beautiful: art, music, theatre, film, dance etc.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm trying to live by the rule "Everything will work out in the end" and not worry that much. But it's difficult...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing was my save haven during my fall term in Montréal. Almost all of the friends I met there was through CS, and what friends!

Music, Movies, and Books

I think my taste in movies, music and books are quite similar to each other. I like them to be a bit quirky and twisted but in a kind way. My favourite movies include Juno and Little Miss Sunshine, and the Swedish classic Slim Sussie. My favourite quirky artist is the Swedish artist Säkert! and Hello Saferide (same girl, different projects), be sure to check her out. As for books I guess writers like Jonathan Safran Foer gets me going.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going through the Gobi desert on the Transmongolian railway was pretty awesome!
