Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As of February 2014, I've been wheelchair bound and fairly disabled due to a neurological illness. I'm not ready for traveling or hosting, but I'd love to tell people about Baltimore/DC/NYC and the cool places and people in them. Also kosher restaurants and Jewish communities if you need them.

Interests

I'm a Modern Orthodox Jew raised in Brussels. Moved around my entire life, until I felt more comfortable traveling than staying in one place. My career is headed to e-textiles but right now I make prom dresses for tuition money. I am currently between Parsons the New School for Design and The University of Maryland engineering department. How does that work? Through lots of travelling and skype calls.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The flight into NYC for my first year of college in Manhattan. Another that comes to mind is Japan again after over 6 years.
