ABOUT ME
I have an upbeat, fun personality and I like to make people laugh. I'm adventurous and try to take advantage of any new experiences that are available to me.
PHILOSOPHY
"I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list."
"Be the change you wish to see in the world."
"Don't get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life."
"Happy people don't have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortunately my home town is not a very popular location for CS travel, but I'm still making it available in hopes I'll have some couchsurfers soon!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first CS experience was as a host while I lived in Alaska. I was contacted by a girl from Austria who was looking for a place to stay. This was also her first experience using CSing. She ended up surfing with me a few more days than planned because we had so much fun. She's now a good friend of mine, and I actually ended up visiting her the following year in Austria. It's amazing the interesting people you can meet through CS!

Music, Movies, and Books
If it's a comedy, I'm probably all about watching it. I'm definitely not into scary movies and not really as much into sci-fi. A good action movie or romantic comedy is good though.
I like listening to Country, contemporary Christian, classic rock, oldies, pop and some piano. I'll listen to other kinds as well, but these are probably the primary ones.
I love to read autobiography's, and motivational books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had the opportunity to go sky diving twice and bungee jumping off a 256 ft bridge in Costa Rica.
Rode an ostrich.
Hike and back-packed supplies in on a donkey to a remote village in Honduras to provide medical care during a missions trip.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm interested in learning, experiencing or trying new things that are specific to a culture. Dances, food/cooking, music, traditions etc.
