About Me

I am outgoing and love to meet new people. I love being in nature and enjoying the beautiful world we live in. I graduated in 2013 with a degree in Recreation Parks and Tourism Administration, with a concentration in Outdoor Recreation. I enjoy climbing and slacklining and sharing these fun activities with others. I like creating and being a part of experiences with people in the outdoors. I love my family and my friends and they have inspired me to pursue my dreams and not sell myself short. Always live Life to the Fullest! My wife and I are always up to something a little out of the ordinary. From building and skoolie to resigning from our jobs to go sailing. We love to keep life interesting.

PHILOSOPHY

I've always said try everything once, especially food! I love to step outside my comfort zone and try different things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love people who are willing to be honest with people and share knowledge and enjoy life.

Interests

I spend my time building relationships with people and nature. I love to learn new things, especially if they are very hands on. I always like to spend time with people and make an impression. This is why I went to college for Recreation Parks and Tourism. I want to help people create memorable moments in their lives.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies- I watch them but honestly I'd rather talk with friends. However Forest Gump is one of my favorites

Music- I've really been into instrumental music lately.

Books- Travel books and guide books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Slightly off the normal path of "amazing" things I've seen. However, while visiting good friends in Las Vegas, I saw a head on fatal collision. This is very sad and it was an awful and tragic happening, but what I learned from this was life is what you make it. You are never in control of what will happen. So live life to the fullest, with love, respect, fun, friends, and family.

I also, recently swam with Whale Sharks in Bahia de Los Angeles, Baja!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn and I love to share. I am very hands on and enjoy making things. I've worked with my hands all my life and would always love to learn something.

Ceramics, wood, glass, metal... I think being creative is important. I love to make things that are useful.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I typically travel with my slackline. If you havent given it a try I would love to teach you.

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Spain
