About Me

ABOUT ME

I like bikes, berries, and beards. I just finished a bike tour from Slovenia to Greece (during Sept and Oct 2019) and it was INCREDIBLE! IN 2015, I biked coast to coast across the United States from Maine to Oregon and it was dope af. I think bike touring is the best way to experience a country's true character.

I've worked all sorts of different jobs ranging from donut making, growing mushrooms in a lab (of the non-magical variety), performing music (piano and trombone, but not at the same time), handing out food samples, leading bike tours, monitoring farm runoff, and digging around in the dirt.

Like every other couchsurfer out there, I obviously love traveling and meeting new people. The world has so much to offer and one lifetime is not enough for everything I want to see and do. I studied abroad in Denmark during my undergraduate, and through travels with friends, family or solo, I have visited 35 countries!

A few years ago I spent 2 and a half months traveling around Australia and New Zealand volunteering on farms, visiting friends, and bein' a tourist. I absolutely fell in love with New Zealand. I just finished my master's in Vermont and love it here, but my hope is to return to New Zealand eventually!

I'm a very chill and laid back person. I like to go with the flow and see where the world takes me. I'm a firm believer in the philosophy that you get from the world what you put into it, so have a blast and be a decent human being!

Follow your bliss.
