Interests

I love traveling so much that when I cannot (don't have budget to go), I create my own adventure: wander around the city, go along a tiny tiny lane to see where it leads to.... It has been different since I came to the US. Public transport is not really available and going means getting a car. So I use as many break as I can for travelling. I can't wait to explore the world around. Luckily, my campus has so many students from all over the world. My friends and I can talk hours and hours about cultures and languages, about all the places we have been to and all the people that we've met. You know how it is when we always have something new to share. I hope to travel more and have more and more new things, to share with my friends and with you, and I hope you will be in my story, too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I went to Seoul,South Korea, I couldn't wait for my friends to settle down so I went out alone without knowing the language and all the system. It was scary at some points because I didn't understand anything around me: all the signs, all the things people talked to me (I somewhat looked like Korean), and I felt like I was lost. But then the excitement won, and I somehow managed to communicate with lovely locals by gestures and word-by-word dictionary look up at some points. When I got back, and actually now still, I feel so amazing how things could go on that well, and how I made friends and overcome language barrier. I just need to travel more and more!!!!
