Interests

I am interested in politics, and world politics in particular. International relations, developing problems and North-South relations are topics that make my life engaging. I spend loads of my time reading newspapers or other interesting publications and my main goal at the moment is finding an interesting job in this field of interest.

Next to that I spend most of my free time together with my friends, ultimately trying to get most out of life while we are still young. We tend to be quite good at that sometimes :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: very very broad. From Chet Baker to Dave Clarke, from CCR to Norah Jones or from the Black Keys to Wu Tang. As long as it's not too poppy.
Movies: big David Lynch fan, amongst others.
Books: dutch literature, but international as well (Marquez, Kundera, Nabokov, Murakami,...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It are the little things in daily life that sometimes strike me the most. This makes them hard to remember, but the fact that you keep getting amazed, no matter how old you are, only adds value to life in my opinion.
