About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Taking once-in-a-lifetime chances!

ABOUT ME

Life's what you make of it! So I try to be open-minded, spontaneous and emotional as much as possible, organized and realistic only as much as necessary. :) Having a positive attitute towards life is pretty important to me, I don't take it too seriously and can laugh about almost everything (especially about myself!) ;)

PHILOSOPHY

Keeping life simple.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Thanks to couchsurfing I meet amazing people in many different ways, and I enjoy that a lot. We usually meet as strangers and part ways as really good friends who I enjoy keeping touch with! :)) And there is always something new that you can learn from someone, that's exciting I think! :))

Interests

I love the great outdoors and spending time outside. I have a passion for all kinds of sports, especially diving, hiking, and cycling. I also love trying new things!

Food!! Vietnamese soups, Indian currys, German Spätzle, Turkish gözleme.. Almost nothing I wouldn't try or wouldn't like. :)

Also my camera's my best friend while travelling. I like taking pictures of the beauty of nature rather than tourist attractions or people. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music varies a lot and really depends on my mood, but if there's someone sitting on the piano/with a guitar and singing - I will definitely like it!

Currently I enjoy reading documentary-style books written by travellers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One thing giving me great joy are interaction with marine wildlife while diving. :)

Cycling from Rijeka to Istanbul by myself last year was a really good experience that grounded me a lot I think.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - I love diving and know a lot about it due to my dive master education. I'm also pretty good with my plants I think (at least none of them has died yet) so if you need help with that here I am. And I can fix a lot on a bicycle and show you how to do that. :)

Learn - I'd love to learn at least some words from different languages, would love to know how to cook an easy traditional meal of the country, get to know places locals enjoy going, and generally like to learn about different concepts of life in different countries! :)

Share - any kind of experiences, good and bad, and knowledge about places, cultures, countries,.. :) Also, of course, food, coffee, etc., basically anything I have at home. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

"Mi casa es su casa." (I don't speak Spanish though :D )
