ABOUT ME

I grew up in Arkansas, went to college at Princeton, and have lived in Portland for six years.

Interests

My wife and daughter and I love the amazing food, music, and nature here in Portland. We're often found hiking in nearby Forest Park—the "largest, forested natural area within city limits in the United States." We also love movies, biking, cooking, and learning Chinese and Italian together. I am a singer/songwriter and guitarist with a local band, and we have recorded six albums and toured the West coast together.

We hope to explore the beauty of Italy, where my ancestors are from, and learn from the people there. We have never had a CouchSurfing experience, but recently spoke with some friends of ours who introduced the program to us. I am a member of Physicians for Social Responsibility, Physicians for Human Rights, and Physicians for a National Health Program
