COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Most wonderful guest experience in Lyon, France. Sarah was a gracious and most kind host. She brought fresh pastries in the early morning before heading off to school and left us lovely notes with directions on what to do and see. She also connected us with her mother in Dijon whose kindness is unforgettable.

Interests

Family and sustaining circle of friends. Love to maintain a healthy lifestyle with yoga, walking, cycling and mindful eating from earth's bountiful delights. Enjoy music, reading, films and travel. Always remaining curious like a child.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love escaping to movies that transport me to distant lands and offer a glimpse into the lives of others in faraway places. I like many different genres of music - classical, blues, classic rock and roll.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking through the lava fields at night in Volcanoes National Park, Hawaii, and watching the glowing orange flows rush past on their way to the ocean. Being so close that the heat singed the bottoms of our shoes!

Traveling through Polynesia on a working freighter and seeing the atolls of Fakarava for the first time. Discovering a whole new under-water universe while scuba-diving in Rangiroa without knowing how to swim! Karaoke with the crew and being in Polynesia during mango season! Enjoying a potluck dinner with guests from all over the world at a bed and breakfast on Matira point in Bora Bora.
