About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be myself.

ABOUT ME

Passionate, life-loving, somewhat stubborn but open-minded.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it is always an interesting to experience my own hometown from a traveller's perspective.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've received my overseas friends from Japan, Germany, China, and Austria visiting me and been their tour guide in Hong Kong where I used to reside. I enjoy walking with them in my own hometown and learning from them what they find special in my city which I usually won't pay attention to.

I was hosted in Strasbourg, Basel, and Aarhus each for a few days and find it really a great idea to know locals' lifestyles and their cultures. Staying by a local at his or her house is a completely different experience from staying in a hotel or hostel. You are not only a tourist but also live like a local. You observe many things from their habits in everyday life.

Interests

talking with friends, travelling, listening to music, philosophizing ( =legitimate word for daydreaming/procrastinating ), reading, nature

Exploring my home city in the mood of a tourist is also an interesting experience.

Once I climbed a snow mountain in Japan (Aka-dake).
