CURRENT MISSION

To share Hula-Hoop-Happiness. Yes, it's that easy. Just start dancing with a magic plastic circle to your favorite songs. To find a job that I love to do (longer than a year)! Tricky. The city, the people, the impact, the topics, the day-to-day work, the payment,...puuu. The only thing I know is, that I jump right into a job as long as the employer values my efforts and me as a human being. Could be anything and could be anywhere arround the world, but preferend in the arts/culture or service sector. It depends on the jorney, eh!?

ABOUT ME

Hi, I am Corinna from Germany. I love theater, dance, Hula Hooping, traveling, camping, hiking, cooking and what not. I don't have a TV since 15 years or so and I don't miss anything. Still don't have enough time to read the books that I wanna read. :)

What friends would say - as far as I can imagine:
Social person, communicative, kind, emotional, happy, loves dancing, culturally interested, cares about things going on world wide, loves traveling, green attitude, wants to learn more languages...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started this couchsurfing idea a while ago, because somebody told me I should try it out and I like it...I hope to meet up with other peple who love traveling, theater, dance, hula-hoop, jazz, etc.

And I make very nice German cakes for my host(s), if I stay a little longer. :)

Still Beginner I would say! Made some wonderful experiences in Canada, thanks to couchsurfing.

Interests

I am a passionate person. I studied Theater Studies, Communication and Media Studies and American Studies (six years of my life) and I finished with a Master of Arts. Besides I worked for the Theater in Leipzig, for a dance archive, at the International Filmfestival in Berlin, for the State Theater in Osnabrueck, for a drama department at a University in Ludwigsburg and for the theater in Rostock. In 2012 I have spend the summer in Canada (working holiday) and in 2014 I traveled again and spent 8 month in New Zealand (work holiday). I enjoy to voluteer for festivals when I travel and I am happy, when I can stay with locals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I met wonderful people arround the world and felt very save most of the time. That's something I am very thankful for. I have done the Tongariro Crossing and multiple day hikes like the Raikura Track, the Kepler Track and the Abel Tasman Track in New Zealand. Also started the Camino in Spain and hiked parts of the East Coast Trail in Newfoudland. I love hiking! :)
