ABOUT ME

I'm an Aussie who has lived in Canada for four years now. I like hiking, cross country skiing, baking muffins, reading (muder mysteries, fiction, non-fiction, whatever I can get my hands on), good coffee, seeing live music and art galleries. I manage an outdoor/lifestyle clothing store in downtown Revelstoke and like a good chat over a glass or three of white wine! I would say that I feel at home when I travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am surfing because I don't have an available couch to host people on! But I'm always available to hang out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with the fantastic Sophie and Catou for a week when I first arrived in Montreal, so I can only say good things. I guess what you put into couchsurfing is what you get out of it!

I'm also good friends with a few people who host couchsurfers in my town, so I understand how to be a respectful and friendly guest.

Books: Anything and everything (but no Stephen King. Way too creepy).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's not something I've done, but one thing that I continuously experience that amazes me is the generosity and warmth of people and strangers worldwide. We're all not so different after all!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share good conversation, stories about the horrific insects and animals that live in Australia (I've seen some terrifying things), some good cooking and plenty of laughs. I am tidy and respectful of your space.
